John Warmath

John Warmath joined Wright in 2008 focused on M&A and corporate strategy and has since participated in numerous acquisitions totaling over $630M. 

John has spent the last three years focused on the transformation of Wright’s International business, both as a member of the Business Development and International Commercial teams. He has led and managed transactions in multiple countries, including the $80M acquisition of a French orthopedic company and the $33M divestiture of the legacy Tornier hip & knee business.

Within the US, John has led targeted initiatives for out-patient total joint replacement & value based orthopedic implants as well as managed multiple M&A transactions.

Prior to joining Wright, John worked in management consulting and was involved in the start-up of a venture-backed medical device company.

John earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and an MBA, both from Vanderbilt University.
