Alex Yergin is Vice President at Datawallet, a blockchain-based personal data management platform that gives users control over their own data and fuels the world’s most powerful consumer-to-business data exchange. At Datawallet, Alex helps oversee business development and operations. He has spent much of his career building data businesses, including working at Palantir, Dataminr (an information discovery company), and GridPoint (a smart energy company). Alex was also a management consultant at Monitor Group. Earlier in his career, Alex worked on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. Alex holds a BA from Yale University, a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is also a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, an Atlantik-Brücke German-American Young Leader, and a John C. Whitehead Fellow of the Foreign Policy Association.
