Vice President – Special Assets Group
Erik Larsen serves as Vice President of HCA’s Special Assets Group. Special Assets Group leads and executes investments, joint ventures and acquisitions involving critical and next-generation technologies, services and solutions serving HCA’s core enterprise. Special Assets Group’s principal strategic objective is to increase HCA’s vision and insights into new and emerging products, services and markets that will impact our core operations and deliver competitive advantage in the immediate & near future. Erik’s career at HCA and Special Assets Group started in 2011, after 10 years of prior experience in healthcare investment banking and corporate development; which included experience advising and leading investments, joint ventures and acquisitions within the healthcare industry. During Erik’s career before HCA, he completed numerous transactions in a variety of healthcare industry sub-sectors, providing a strong knowledge base from which to draw to execute the Special Assets Group mandate. Erik earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Masters in Business Administration from Wake Forest University.
