Miriam Paramore is a seasoned executive with 30+ years of experience in healthcare and deep expertise in health information technology. As President of OptimizeRx, she is an officer of the company and is responsible for all day-to-day operations. She is a Senior Advisor at NueCura, a Nashville-based healthcare angel investment company, as well as advisor to several venture and private equity firms. She is a member of Advisory Board of RxREVU, an early-stage prescription decision support company. Previously, Paramore held executive roles in health IT companies including COO/CTO of digital health marketplace Lucro and EVP of retail pharmacy health IT vendor PDX. During her tenure as EVP of Strategy and Product at Emdeon, she reported to the CEO and helped lead the company to over $1.2 billion in revenues and largest health IT IPO in history. Paramore is the architect of The U.S. Healthcare Efficiency Index™, the policy platform that resulted in the passage of the electronic healthcare payments provision of the Affordable Care Act. Since pioneering that work, the healthcare industry has experienced more than $1 billion in annual savings due to increased efficiencies in healthcare provider payment processing. Paramore has held many Board positions including: CareSource, HIMSS, the Louisville Health Information Exchange, and the eHealth Committee for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She is a member of the inaugural class of the Nashville Health Care Fellows Program and a member of Deloitte’s Life Sciences and Healthcare Women to Watch.
